    OUR PROFILE

    One Stop Business Solutions (Newcastle) - OSBSN - was formed in 1990 to provide professional unbiased advice and quality sales and service to small and medium businesses.

    OUR TEAM


    Robert Jansen (JP,FGIA,FCIS,FIPA) -
    Robert is a qualified Accountant and Chartered Secretary. Prior to forming OSBSN, he had 18 years experience in business and payroll as Accountant and Company Secretary for a group of 8 companies having some 200 employees. Since that time, he has had extensive training and exposure in the field of information systems and technology.

    Having had experience with different software suppliers over the years, Robert now concentrates on Attaché and Triumph, with Attaché being the mainstay since 1990.

    Gail Jansen -
    Gail has over 22 years experience with Attaché as an end-user, and is involved in administration.

    Business Improvement Review

    OSBSN can show business owners how to increase profits without extra stress.

    Through a series of meetings and questionnaires, we show the value that could be achieved by adopting an Intelligent Business System.

    We offer a review of your business and its current system’s capabilities, strengths and weaknesses, focusing in particular on Debtors, Expenses, Stock levels and Sales. We then consider where an Intelligent Business System, combined with better business practices, could improve your business.

    Too often as organizations expand their business, they don’t upgrade their software; whether that simply means adding extra modules or going the extra step by upgrading to the appropriate level of software required.

    Generally speaking, small to medium organizations do not have the skills to properly assess and evaluate the solutions that are the most appropriate for them - this is where we come in.

    A review can also highlight areas where additional training may be required in order to more fully use the existing software, resulting in efficiency and productivity gains.

    Sales

    OSBSN specializes in accounting software and integrated after-market solutions.

    We cater for systems that can be purchased outright or as monthly subscription.

    Monthly subscription has the following benefits over outright purchase:-

    • No upfront large capital outlay
    • Match income with expense on monthly basis
    • Monthly deduction from bank or credit card account
    • Allows for funds (not paid upfront) to be used to generate more business, e.g. advertising or stock

    Installation

    Installation is available on all products provided by OSBSN. All installations are handled by staff who are qualified and dedicated in their respective areas of expertise, be it core or after-market products.

    Where an organization upgrades to new software altogether, assistance is available to convert much of the existing Masterfiles and data without the need to re-key manually.

    Training

    Training is available on all products provided by OSBSN. All training is provided by staff who are qualified and have many years of experience in their respective products.

    A common “illness” in organizations is the lack of on-going training for both current and new employees, resulting in inefficiencies in running the business, with employees often doing things “the hard way”, when some training could show more effective ways to perform tasks.

    Support

    Support is provided by telephone, remote-access and on-site visits. Generally, phone support is provided on a PAYG basis rather than contract, as this usually proves more cost effective for the organization.

    Where businesses operate extended hours or weekends, reasonable phone support is available.

    Attaché Payroll

    The payroll module can be embedded with Attaché Accounts or used standalone.

    It provides fast, accurate payroll processing, and it has the power and flexibility to grow with your business, whether you have 5 or 5,000 staff. Because it is locally developed and supported, you are assured of up-to-date compliance with all relevant laws.

    Code-man

    Allows the printing of standard, customized or barcode only labels, based on flexible product selections.

    It also generates barcodes for products in your masterfile, where no barcode exists.

    Stock-man

    Designed to supplement Attaché’s stocktake functionality, Stock-man adds many features as well as the ability to run the program on a laptop independent of live access to the Attaché software.

    Triumph Accounting

    Triumph Accounting is multi-user and can be used by small businesses, multi-division companies and multi-company corporations.

    OSBSN provides a remote access service via the internet using Teamviewer; a simple, fast and secure remote control application. This allows us to access your computer securely from anywhere, to review and solve issues you may have. As there is no travelling time involved, you benefit from reduced charges.

    Using Teamviewer, it is also possible to perform software upgrades and other data file maintenance you may require, outside of office hours, minimizing interruption to work flow and loss of employee productivity.
